{"id":14601,"date":"2021-12-01T09:30:29","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T08:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epe-asso.org\/?p=14601"},"modified":"2022-02-01T11:28:41","modified_gmt":"2022-02-01T10:28:41","slug":"ebns-2021-business-statement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.epe-asso.org\/en\/ebns-2021-business-statement\/","title":{"rendered":"EBNS 2021 Business Statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #004f9a;\"><strong>European Business Statement<br \/>\n&#8220;Scaling up action for nature&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>At the outset of the European Business &amp; Nature Summit 2021, a Business Statement is calling on businesses and policy makers to mainstream biodiversity in all decisions and policies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"background: url('https:\/\/dev.epe-asso.org\/wp-content\/plugins\/WP-file-download\/app\/admin\/assets\/images\/folder_download.png') no-repeat scroll center center #D6D6D6; border: 2px dashed #888888; height: 200px; border-radius: 10px; width: 99%;\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.epe-asso.org\/wp-content\/plugins\/WP-file-download\/app\/admin\/assets\/images\/t.gif\" alt=\"\" data-dropfilescategory=\"678\" data-category=\"678\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On 1 December 2021, the European Business statement was officially delivered to the European Commission at the EBNS 2021, in the presence of Virginijus Sinkevi\u010dius, European Commissioner for the Environment and Laurent Burelle, Chairman of AFEP (Association fran\u00e7aise des entreprises priv\u00e9es). The European Business Statement was developed by 13 EBNS partners, and discussed at CEO-level among their members.<\/p>\n<p>The statement calls:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>on European businesses to scale up action, ambition and innovative collaboration on biodiversity;<\/li>\n<li>on the European Union to integrate biodiversity as strongly as climate into the Green Deal and recovery plans, to actively work towards the adoption of a transformative Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework at CBD COP15, China, and to mainstream biodiversity in all European and national policies and decision-making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dev.epe-asso.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/BusinessStatement_Page_4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"
